Hello Readers and Writers!

In addition to my memoir writing and other non-fiction work, a significant part of my fiction writing and my written and performance poetry over the years has been erotica. One of my first published newspaper articles was a piece I did in Baltimore's City Paper about writing erotica - you can check it out here.  During the pandemic, I began teaching writing workshops on the subject online, and because of the popularity of those courses, I am expanding my online workshop offerings. I will be offering more classes on writing erotic fiction and poetry, and on sensual content in general for all levels of writing experience. PS - To get a sense of what is possible with well-executed erotic writing, I highly recommend The Secret Lives of Church Ladies by Deesha Philyaw. It's won a ton of awards, and it's an excellent book.
